Maintenance and upgrade of a rock groyne protecting the harbour edge, with access improvements for the yacht club.

Sulphur Point is an erosion protection structure on the Tauranga harbour edge. The work covered maintenance and upgrade of the rock groyne, including repositioning the concrete pathway along it to improve access for the Tauranga Yacht Club and its members.
Marine and coastal work brings its own constraints. Tides, weather windows and public access all shape what can be built and when.
