Rural bridge replacement taken from a blank page through contract documentation, tender and award, then administered on site.

A bridge replacement on a live rural road for a small district council. The complexity here was contractual rather than structural. Completing the NZS 3910:2013 schedules for a job like this means choosing the terms rather than copying them, then being accountable for how that risk allocation performs through tender and construction.
I wrote the contract documentation, took the job through tender to award and then administered it on site as Engineer’s Representative. I did not design the bridge.
